This past summer was one of the hardest I've been through. It was my first summer not living at home and I can't even begin to explain how hard it was to say goodbye to my bestfriend, not knowing if he will come home safely or not. I really don't know what I would have done without Mallory there with me through it all. She was there when I needed her the most and she always knew how to motivate me out of my bed and keep me from moping around all day. She has become one of my best friends and I can't thank her enough for what she's done for me. She was my should to cry on and she always knew how to keep me going day after day. I don't know what I would have done without her. I love you Mallory.

I would like to nominate Jayde Johnson as “Hero of the Week.”She is not only “REALLY pretty,” but she is a great role model. I know I can always count on her for anything. We have only known each other a little over a year but she has taught me so much about friendship and life. She is a determined, hardworking, 4.0 student in the dental hygiene program. She is resolved to be her best, live her life positively and most importantly, be happy. She is one of the most caring people I know. Whenever I have a problem or have had a rough day, I can always count on her to turn it around, see the positive and make me smile. I could not imagine what I would do without her and I am glad I don’t have to. She is not only my diamond sister but one of my best friends.

Not only is she an amazing ADPi by always putting forth 100% effort, having a warm smile and loving attitude towards all of her sisters she is an amazing woman. She is everything an ADPi should be: beautiful inside and out, loving, caring, nurturing, funny, outgoing, and most importantly SELFLESS. I am honored to call her my my sister and roommate but more importantly my best friend. Thank you for always being there for me whether by letting me be OCD and organize our room or watching The Real Houswives. I love you with all of my heart Molls. Merrrrr :)

Jessica Higgins is so beautiful inside & out. She truly exemplifies everything Alpha Delta Pi stands upon. She does illustrate the highest ideals of Christian Womanhood and she does enrich me with true friendship. She is selfless and understanding. We laugh and we cry together. She offers me so much confidence and support. I hope Jessica understands I want to be for her, what she is for me. From Jessica, we can all learn to wipe our slate clean and hold no grudges. Jessica treats every sister with understanding and respect. That makes her standout. My wish is that we could all become a lot more like Jessica. This week was full of ridiculous stresses, but nonetheless she was there for me through them all. Jessica truly is my best friend, sister, and hero. Alex is one of the most beautiful individuals--inside and out--that I have ever met. She never ceases to amaze me. She is smart, driven, talented, and undeniably hilarious. I will never forget when she stood up at her first Epsilon Delta meeting and made an announcement about starting a new program on campus, FeelGood, to end world hunger. I remember thinking, "Dang, This girl is legit!" Alex did not waste a minute of her time getting involved on campus or in this sorority. After being here for only a semester, Alex had founded a new organization on campus, became a Spirit Master, and took on the daunting task of Spring Sing Props, all while maintaining outstanding grades and dealing with the difficult and unexpected diagnosis of her sister. She's a rock star. Alex really blew me away during recruitment week. As I said before, the girl is down right funny. Her sense of humor and with are unmatched. She was not afraid to bust out her inner-nerd and act like a complete goofball during the theme skit. Plus, she allowed herself to be vulnerable & opened up by sharing her testimonial at preference, which I think we all would agree extremely moving. Not only that, but she can dougie with the best of them, make a mean grilled cheese. Alex, even though you are my adopted little sister, I truly look up to you and am often awestruck at how outgoing, hardworking, and optimistic you are. I love you, little! Remember: Game Face, Bring it On :)

Alex is my diamond sister & I couldn't imagine my life without her in it. She is absolutely the most loving and caring person I know. She will drop anything and everything for those she loves. I know if I ever need advice or I'm upset about something-I can always call Alex. She didn't know me at all when were assigned Big & Little but she took me under her wing and treated me like her sister from the start. Alex contributes so much to Alpha Delta Pi. She is a sister who listens, cares, and understands. She also holds an office. I strive every day to be Alex. She is truly the epitome of an Alpha Delta Pi. She is strong in her faith and always turns to God or prayer in times of trouble. She also looks for the best in people. This is something I admire I wish I could do. If everyone were to be Alex, the world would truly be a better place. I am so glad Alex is an Adpi and I am so proud to call her my big sister. She's not just my diamond sister, she's my best friend, companion, & future cat lady.

Aarika has been the perfect example of what an Adpi should be. She does it all. She's involved on campus, she's super active in Adpi as our president, and she gives back to the community. With all of this, she still makes time for her sisters. Aarika always has a smile on her face. She has such a kind spirit and is nice to everyone she comes into contact with. Not once does she ask for recognition for all that she does for this chapter and for this campus. She does it all because she loves Adpi & WKU. This is my way of saying thank you for all that you do. When Molly started off her senior year, she was expecting 8am classes everyday, lots of homework, and getting ready for graduation. She was not expecting getting a little at all. Molly works on campus, is on the Up Till Dawn committee, handles many classes and maintains good grades. With all of this she is still active in Adpi. She is seen as a hard worker and an all around great person from anyone in the community. Molly has been there for me through all the health issues and all the problems that have been happening at home in my life. I never could have imagined that someone who I had just met would already want to do so many things for me, as well as guide me and just be there for me. Molly & I did not know each other when we were paired up as Diamond Sisters. I was honestly worried about her being my big sister--but now I know for a fact that I would not have made it through without my big. She calls & checks up on people , and offers things when they are needed. I have never seen nor known such a caring person. Molly I love you and thank you so much for being there for me. You truly are and will forever be my hero. You are indeed the definition of a sister.

DeeDee is an all around amazing person. Her personality is contagious, as well as her ability to always have a smile on her face. She is a lady of many talents, abilities, and accomplishments. Anne Taylor is one of the most beautiful, smartest, well rounded people I know. With her continuous dedication to school work, her job, sorority, friends, and family--Anne Taylor has got it all together. I admire Anne Taylor for being such a hardworker. She's a pro at handling a lot of things at once. She strives to put God first in her life and always stays positive no matter what life throws her way. Some of my favorite things about Anne Taylor are no doubt her hair twirling, but the fact that she can laugh about anything. I know if I'm having a bad day, she is willing to do anything to cheer me up. She represents what a true Alpha Delta Pi should be. Anne Taylor is the best friend I could ever ask for. She's been one of the main contributors to my strength after a break-up and strength as a person. I thank God for Anne Taylor. Because of her, I've found an overall happier place in my life. I couldn't have done it without her. I look up to Anne Taylor more than she knows and I know that I am not the only one. I'm so blessed to have Anne Taylor in my life: as a sister, a best friend, and a roomie!

Alice Weber is a great asset to Alpha Delta Pi. She exemplifies class in everything she does and is probably the most caring person I know. She is also very artsy and creative and she uses those talents in Adpi. One thing I admire Alice for is her relationship with God. I've never met someone so trusting in their faith. I've always heard her say that when she's lost or she's had a bad day she prays to God and it truly helps her. She may no know this, but she's helped me strengthen my relationship with God. I know whenever I am having a bad day or just need to talk, Alice is there no matter what. I spend a whole week in Daytona with Alice and I've never seen someone so willing to give with nothing in return--especially for her sisters. Alice has been through a lot this past year and she continues to stay strong and positive. I am so proud to call her my hero and my sister.

I love Alpha Delta Pi. I love Adpi because of the opportunities it has given me and the experiences I have had. Most of all, I love Adpi because of the friends it has given me, Friends like Caroline Carter. Caroline is the life of the party. She is always happy and is always willing to try something new and have a good time. She is sincere and optimistic about everything. She is beautiful inside and out, and has changed me & changed me for the better. She has encouraged me, she has called me out when I need it, and she has picked me up and put me back together again when I couldn't help myself. She is going to do great things, I am certain of this. She is an unselfish friend and she truly knows how to live by the words: "The only way to have a friend, is to be one." A good Adpi is unselfish, kind, fun-loving, and beautiful inside and out. A good friend is all of these things and Caroline has them all.

Jessica is an amazing asset to Alpha Delta Pi. She is the perfect sister and classiness is just a part of how she walks and talks. She is incredibly involved and helps others learn to benefit from her involvement by opening up opportunities to them and sharing the information that she learns. Jessica also shares her skills with Adpi through choreography by helping us with Spring Sing. She cares for everyone and has their best interests at heart. Morgan is a great asset to this chapter. She's a President's Scholar & She works so hard for her grades. She holds a leadership position in Best Buddies so the campus knows her & she is a beautiful girl. Not only does she look good on paper, but a beautiful person on the inside. She is the most loyal person I know, even to people who are undeserving. She's one tough cookie with a soft gooey center. She's the girl who cried when she opened her bid day card that said Alpha Delta Pi. She's been through a lot of issues lately, especially regarding her health but she keeps on pushing. She is an inspiration, and we are so lucky that she is a member of Alpha Delta Pi. Sometimes the unrecognized members bring the most to the table.
